Ignition Condenser

Noticing a lot of sparking at your points? Maybe a weak spark even with your points and coils in good condition? It might be time for a new condenser. This device is required with most points ignition systems and a healthy condenser will prolong the life of your points by reducing the arcing. It will also help strengthen the quality of your spark by absorbing the discharged power from the coils when the spark is fired.

This unit is suitable for 12V or 6V systems and works with bikes that have one or two points. In the case of a single point, only one of the two wires (either) is required. This unit grounds through its mounting bracket, so ensure there is near-zero resistance between the unit's body and the battery negative terminal after installation.
